Most home care workers do not have decision making power! Instead bad bosses and corporations make decisions without considering how it will impact care workers.

53% of home care workers strongly agree that there is an unfair distribution of profits between agency owners, managers and the workers.

Colorado's home care workers care for Colorado, now we need to support them!

As it stands, the care industry is managed and guided not by those who receive or provide care, but by those who profit off of it. What’s more, home care workers work in isolation, never seeing other or other healthcare providers. As a result, the issues that both care providers and clients face often go unaddressed and worsen. Home care workers are leaders in providing care, and it is critical that they have the right to discuss their wages and working conditions with their coworkers and have the power to make decisions in their industry.

By making it more accessible for home care workers to join and form unions and creating institutions where care workers, client advocates, agencies and government leaders can work together to set standards across the industry, we can address the crisis in Colorado’s home care system at its very core and create a better system for caregivers and clients alike.

We are asking for your help to call on lawmakers to secure ALL of these rights:

Decision-Making Power
